Bonjour mis amigos y familia!!!
So, today was absolute madness! I spent a good majority of the day inside cleaning the room, reading, and just getting things done. At around 8, my friend Kelly realized she forgot something at her boyfriend's place in Berkeley. So, we made it a huge field trip to Berkeley in Charlotte's car (my roomie). On the Bay Bridge, we passed a car on fire!!! That was sooo terrifying- the front door was open and there were no ambulances so i'm sure everyone was alright. It took us forever and a half to get there, but we did. I had Yotam and Alex Choi come meet us and it was soooo wonderful! Such cuties. We made it a 10 minute stop basically and were on our way again at 9:40. We were supposed to make it back at 10 so that Charlotte didn't have to miss Laguna Beach... oy vey... So all of a sudden, three of us have to pee like no other- and then we get lost. We got way lost. While trying to find our way back to civilization and a bathroom, some sportscar ZOOMED passed us. He was WAY too close for comfort. But we're fine. We finally see a gas station (gas price $3.19 min fyi). We pull up closer and there's a sign: "Restrooms closed at night"... oookay! He wouldn't let us in so Talia (probably my favorite person here) decides it best to "pop-a-squat" behind the gas station near a van. We didn't realize it, but we happened to be right below someone's house and that someone banged on the window and shook her finger at us! Bah! It was hilarious... we laughed and therefore had to go EVEN MORE. We were now very close to explosion, btw. We were on our way again and we found a 7-11. We RUN in and the bathroom door comes into view and i read it outloud, "Restrooms out of order". Beautiful! Just what we needed! We ran (more like wobbled at this point) to the next closest thing we saw. A laundrymat. The woman understands what an emergency it is and warns us before giving the bathroom key, "It's extremely yucky, though". We obviously didn't care and rushed in. WOOOOAH! Our heads almost fell off! Or at least i hoped they would if it meant i didn't have to smell that horrid stench anymore! Disgusting... we touched nothing. There was no soap. Awesome. But we had peed and life was good once again. On the way to the school, we sang our lungs away and i watched the incredible lights and buildings of the city.
Much Love Always,
Deetzeedoo.
p.s. write back and let me know how you guys are doing!
